Mrs. Shaddock is honored and excited to serve Sporting Hill Elementary School as the principal. This is her seventh year as principal. In addition, she has served as an Instructional Specialist at Sporting Hill for six years.
Born and raised in Camarillo, CA Mrs. Shaddock spent her summers basking in the sun and catching waves! Actually, it was while living in CA at the young age of thirteen that she realized she wanted to be a teacher. Mrs. Shaddock pursued her dream and graduated from California State University Bakersfield. For twenty-one years, she taught elementary school in California, Texas, and Pennsylvania. Supporting and believing in the public educational system, Mrs. Shaddock made a conscious decision to go back to school for her Principal Certification, as well as a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction.
Mrs. Shaddock has been married since 1992 and has two wonderful children! Her husband, Paul, installs and services medical imaging equipment in a zone that covers Maine to Maryland. Their children graduated from CV. Isaiah lives in Reading, PA and works in the medical imaging field. Amanda is starting her first year of teaching at Silver Spring Elementary School in CVSD.
